Dr. Newhart is certified as an
Elite Preferred Provider for Invisalign®

Dr. Newhart is one of the top providers of Invisalign in North America.  Elite Preferred Provider certification has been earned by very few orthodontists in the world. This certification is awarded only to those whose knowledge, experience and expertise is unsurpassed and at the highest level. This skill level is critical to a great outcome for each patient. Dr. Newhart moves your teeth "virtually" on a computer with special software. Experience and expertise are at a premium with this new technology and Dr. Newhart is one of the nation's leaders in the technique.

What is Invisalign?

With the Invisalign technique, Dr. Newhart uses a series of almost invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners to move your teeth. The series of aligners are custom made for each patient according to Dr. Newhart's specifications. He programs each aligner to move your teeth a little closer to the desired result...a great smile!

What are the advantages?

The aligners are almost impossible to detect while you are wearing them, so self-confidence remains high during the treatment. This is important to teens as well as professional men and women. Speech is not affected while wearing aligners. They are removable, so you can eat and drink what you want, when you want during treatment. Since they are removable, it is easy to clean your teeth and maintain excellent oral hygiene. They are also very comfortable and easy to get used to. Since Dr. Newhart completes your orthodontic treatment on the computer prior to making your aligners, you can view your own virtual treatment and final result at the start of your own treatment.

How does it work?

You wear each set of aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move — little by little, week by week — until they have straightened to the final position Dr. Newhart has prescribed. You'll visit Dr. Newhart about once every 12 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. Total treatment time averages 9-15 months and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary from case to case.

Is Invisalign only for adults?

Invisalign was originally available only to adults. However, advances in technology allow certain orthodontists to treat teenagers with Invisalign. This new technology is called Invisalign Teen. Dr. Newhart has the advanced training and certification to provide this technique for your teenager! Teens love it and so do we. It is amazing to see how eager the teens are when offered treatment without braces.
